The Summer I Turned Pretty to End With a Movie Instead of Season 4

  A movie sequel to The Summer I Turned Pretty is in development. Amazon Prime Video has announced the news after the hit show’s season 3 finale began streaming on the platform. Created by Jenny Han from her namesake novel trilogy, The Summer I Turned Pretty debuted on June 17, 2022. Seasons 2 and 3 subsequently came out on July 14, 2023, and July 16, 2025. While it was previously announced that the third season would also be the show’s last and that there would not be a Season 4, the story will now conclude with a feature-length sequel.
